In February, MS activists will join together for an opportunity to learn more about MS activism, reach out to legislators and advance the Society's legislative priorities. Together, MS activists take action and shape health policies to benefit people living with MS.
The National MS Society will host the Arkansas Public Policy Conference on Thursday, Feb. 16 at the Capitol Hill Lounge in Little Rock. Joe Gagen, a nationally recognized advocacy expert, will lead a fun and informative workshop: “Effective Legislative Communications or Why You Cannot See What is Entirely Clear to Me.” This hands-on training will help prepare participants for meetings with legislators.
Participants will also have the opportunity to join other MS Activists at the State Capitol to share their personal stories with State Senators and State Representatives, ask legislators for support for MS priority legislation, and connect with others who want to do something about MS in the community.
Additional details and registration for the Public Policy Conference are available online. Don’t miss out on your chance to be a part of the MS movement today!
