The 25th Anniversary Great-West Life Bike MS, Colorado's Ride 2010 Presented by Sam's Club
Bike MS is a two-day inspirational ride held by National MS Society chapters across the nation each year to raise funds that support programs to enhance the lives of people living with MS as well as fund vital research to help create a world free of MS. Of the funds raised through this event, 83 cents of each dollar is spent on research and local programs; this has paved the way for the development of breakthrough treatments and programs, enabling a more fulfilling and productive life for over 9,500 Coloradans and their families.
The Colorado Chapter of the National MS Society’s Bike MS is Colorado’s oldest nonprofit ride. The 25th Anniversary Great-West Life Bike MS, Colorado’s Ride 2010 presented by Sam’s Club will be held June 26 – 27, 2010, with a goal of raising over $3 million! More than 3,000 cyclists, 600 volunteers, and countless supporters will enjoy majestic Colorado scenery while riding from Front Range Community College in Westminster to Colorado State University in Fort Collins and back, collectively logging over 400,000 miles.

Registration Q & A
Q1 - Why did you establish priority registration for the 2010 Ride?
We have chosen to offer priority registration in response to the ride’s growing popularity and in appreciation of our top fundraisers. We understand that today’s distressed economy creates a challenging environment for fundraising, and this is one way we can express our appreciation to cyclists that contribute significantly to help the 9,000 Coloradoans living with and the 72,000 affected by multiple sclerosis.
Q2 - Does priority registration guarantee me a spot?
Priority registration gives a cyclist the first opportunity to register during a set time frame. Please see the timeline for your guarantee time period
Q3 - What happens if I am eligible for priority registration, but I am not able to sign-up during the designated priority registration period?
While we will make every effort to make priority registration available to those who qualify, we must set a closing date in order to accommodate general registration. 2010 Top 100 Club and High Roller Club Members will be guaranteed a spot through May 14th.
Q4 - How long will priority registration last?
Priority registration will run from December 2nd through January 19th.
Q5 - What will happen to participants that do not qualify for priority registration?
All other individuals who wish to register for the 2010 Colorado Bike MS will have opportunities to do so online beginning on Wednesday, January 20th. General registration will remain open until we reach our rider limit. We can not guarantee when this will happen, so register ASAP.
Q6 - I have been riding the Colorado Bike MS Ride for several years. Will I be able to participate in a priority registration?
We value our loyal, long-time participants who have ridden with us for multiple years. Due to the increased popularity of the ride and demand for registration, the priority registration is based on fundraising from the past few Rides. Long-time participants that did not ride and raise the minimum donation from 2007 - 2009 will have the opportunity to register during general registration on January 20th.
Q7 - How many registration slots will be available for the general registration?
We estimate at least 1,000 slots, which is approximately one-third of all registrations, will be available during general registration.
