The Colorado-Wyoming Chapter of the National MS Society hosts three Bike MS events each year. These Rides raise funds that support community-based programs and services as well as fund vital research to help create a world free of MS.
Thank you to the hundreds of incredible volunteers who helped make the 2012 Newmont Bike MS, presented by Great-West Life and the Fort Collins Loop a seamless and successful event!
In Wyoming, the Close Encounters Ride 2012 will take place on August 18 and 19. Each day begins and ends in Sundance, Wyoming, routing through the beautiful countryside of Northern Wyoming on Day One and the gorgeous Black Hills of South Dakota on Day Two.
Groups and individuals of all ages and abilities are invited to volunteer. Volunteers play a key role in the success of Bike MS events by ensuring the safety for our cyclists and supporters.
All volunteers receive:
- Wrist band to enjoy a meal during your shift(s)
- Custom MS Volunteer T-shirt
- The satisfaction of supporting an incredible cause
- Overnight accommodations (based on number and location of shifts)
