Challenge yourself! Bike MS will test your body and uplift your spirit as you ride 150 miles to create a world free of MS. Bike MS: Louisiana is a two-day event through the beautiful countryside of Louisiana and Mississippi. The ride begins in Hammond, Louisiana at Southeastern Louisiana University and overnights at Percy Quin State Park in McComb, Mississippi before heading back to Hammond on Day 2. There are six rest stops along the way located in quaint, sleepy towns and a Louisiana-style party at the end of each day. Community Health Charities Giving
The National MS Society recognizes that several Bike MS participants have experienced difficulty when giving their Bike MS fundraising through Community Health Charities' workplace giving program. Community Health Charities currently does not track special gifts, like individual Bike MS donations. The National MS Society staff works with participants to ensure that all fundraising is credited correctly and in a timely manner. To accelerate this process for Bike MS donations given through Community Health Charities, the Society may request that you provide us with documentation like pay stubs showing your workplace giving contributions. Prizes will be awarded based on correct, total fundraising.
The National MS Society supports Community Health Charities as a great option for workplace giving. Moving forward however, the Society encourages Bike MS donors to give through personal checks or through our Web site.
