Color the Town Orange, the Color of a Cure
We need volunteers to help us turn Bakersfield and Lancaster orange, the color for a cure. We're looking for groups to tie orange ribbons around trees along Truxtun and Chester Avenuesin downtown Bakersfield, and along the BLVD in downtown Lancaster. Tickets are $35/person or two for $60 and include admission, food and wine. The proceeds will go towards the Walk MS team's fundraising efforts who sells the most tickets. MS Service Day
Saturday, March 16 beginning at 9:30am: A team of local volunteers will lead the Chapter's 4th Annual MS Service Day, traveling around Bakersfield, completing home improvement projects both inside and outside homes of people living with multiple sclerosis. Past projects include yard work, painting, cleaning, and small home repairs/modifications.
