Service Day for People with MS
What a Difference a Day Makes! MS Service Day is a volunteer driven initiative day of service organized by the National MS Society Southern California & Nevada Chapter. Teams of volunteers complete projects for families living with multiple sclerosis.
Projects may include:
• Heavy cleaning
• De-cluttering house or garage
• Transporting donated items to thrift shops
• Cleaning out and organizing closets
• Small household repairs
• Moving furniture
• Running errands
• Yard work
• Handyman chores/minor home modifications
• Just visiting in your home, assisted living or nursing home
In 2013 we will be hosting MS Service Days in Kern County and Long Beach, CA.
The 4th annual Kern County MS Service Day will be held March 16, 2013. For more information on volunteering or if you have MS and would like to be considered for a project to be completed at your home click here.
