The Chapter provides a variety of educational programs for people with MS and their loved ones.
Every three months we offer Newly Diagnosed workshops in our chapter locations.
We also offer special education programs with topics that cover the full spectrum of MS information. These include symptom management, legal rights, and independent living, wellness concepts, exercise needs, and family issues. For the dates of upcoming programs in your community, consult our chapter calendar or contact us at 1-800-344-4867, (415) 230-6677.
The Chapter's statewide tele-series allows you to learn about wellness, independent living, and more from the comfort of your home. Please visit our chapter calendar for upcoming dates and topics. Past topics are also available for you to download and listen to at your convenience.
For those unable to attend, videos of many workshops can be borrowed from our chapter library. In addition, there are educational videos and DVDs available through the National MS Society that are available to clients.
Finally, our Professional Resource Center provides education for healthcare providers on the continual advancement in MS research.
Pre-registration is required for all programs. If you do not pre-register we cannot guarantee space will be available, or notify you if times or locations change. Although donations are suggested at the time of registration, no one will be denied access due to lack of funds.
