The success of the Challenge Walk MS: Charleston Challenge 2012 is directly related to the wonderful volunteers who help make the event go off without a hitch. We welcome volunteers with a wide range of talents and skills. There is only one requirement: to want to do something about MS now! There are many jobs to choose from including registration and cheering at the finish line! Register Now!
Please note: Crew and Super Crew volunteers must pay a registration fee to participate. Crew must also pay a housing fee if they choose to stay at Wild Dunes Resort. The fee is $50/person per night for Friday and Saturday nights. Additional housing fees apply for any Super Crew or Crew who choose to stay at Wild Dunes Resort Thursday night ($75/person). This helps to underwrite event costs and to ensure that Challenge Walk donations go directly to our mission to create a world free of MS.
Registration Fee Schedule:
$55 Registration Fee (May 1-December 31)
$65 Registration Fee (January 1-February 17)
Crew members are not required to raise the minimum contribution. However, those that want to go above and beyond by pledging to raise $750 become elite "Super Crew" members.
There are three different volunteer options:
Volunteers
Volunteer your time by helping out at the Challenge Walk for one day or half a day. Registration is free for volunteers.
Crew Member Volunteers
Crew members stay at our overnight location for $50/person per night (Friday and Saturday nights) and handle multiple jobs throughout the weekend. Crew members pay a registration fee to help underwrite the cost of food.
Super Crew Member Volunteers
Have the opportunity to take full part in the event. Super Crew members stay at our overnight location at no cost and handle multiple jobs throughout the weekend. Super Crew members pay a registration fee to help underwrite the cost of accommodations and food. This group of dedicated volunteers also raise a half of the $1,500 minimum pledge requirement in our movement towards a world free of MS.
