DENVER – The Colorado-Wyoming Chapter of the National MS Society announced the addition of four community leaders to its board of trustees. The new trustees are Carl Berglind, associate general counsel for Emergency Medical Services Corp; Chris Doerr, vice president of information technology for the Americas at Gambro Renal Products; Jeff Higgins, president of Validiti; and Susan Pollard, business project director, Individual and Family Plan segment, Cigna Healthcare.
The Chapter also conferred emeritus status upon former board trustee George Garmany, MD, for his commitment, outstanding contributions and more than 30 years of board service. Garmany is the fifth person to receive this honor in the Chapter’s 53-year history.
“We are honored to have the time and expertise of these community leaders,” said Carrie Nolan, president, Colorado-Wyoming Chapter, National MS Society. “Their guidance and contributions benefit the work of the Chapter and enhance support for the MS community,” she added.
The Colorado-Wyoming Chapter has offices in Denver, Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, Grand Junction and Cheyenne to serve and advocate for the 88,000 people affected by MS in Colorado and Wyoming.
