Despite the number of people who have been diagnosed with MS, many are still lacking valuable knowledge about the disease and its effects. While people living with MS experience a number of symptoms and struggles, MS impacts families, friends, co-workers, neighbors and caregivers as well. A basic understanding of MS and how it affects a person’s life can empower those living with the disease as well as those supporting them.
Ambassadors are available to present information about MS to civic groups, universities, healthcare facilities, volunteer organizations, health fairs, corporations and any other audience looking to learn more. If you know someone who needs to know more, please contact Jennifer Bell at 303-698-5443 or Jennifer.Bell@nmss.org to schedule a presentation with an MS Ambassador.
