Ongoing: Book Sale to Support National MS Society
After Negar Niazi’s life-changing diagnosis of multiple sclerosis, she found herself on a journey into the world of mysticism, ancient literature, and mythology. She would like to share this new world through the magic of Rumi’s Fables, a book of short stories she has translated from the great 13th century persian poet and philosopher, Rumi. Readers young or old will find themselves in a land of mystery that can transcend an ordinary or even a difficult one.
Visit www.rumisfables.com to buy the book; 10% of the proceeds will be donated to the National MS Society.
Ongoing: Survival Straps to Benefit National MS Society
Survival Straps are beautiful bracelets made of one of the toughest cords around: military-issue parachute cord. They are worn as a "...symbol of strength, honor, survival, and the greatness of American production." In an emergency, the bracelet can be unravelled, giving you several feet of paracord to get yourself out of a jam. If you use yours, tell Survival Straps your story and they will replace it for free. What better symbol to pair with people with MS? Bill Stein, an MS patient advocate and MS patient, partnered with Survival Straps to create an MS Support bracelet.
Buy one online and 10-25% of the net proceeds will be donated to the Colorado-Wyoming Chapter of the National MS Society.
