As with most things in life, follow-up is extremely important. Say thank you to those people who gave their time and money to support you and your ventures.
Follow up on your event with a short and fun report on how the ride/walk went and where your fundraising campaign ended. Include photos or short stories from the event so that the donor feels connected to the cause and understands what they were supporting.
This gesture of thanks completes the process of fundraising and also sets you up to reconnect with your donors again the following year.
