Danica Cox, Swink, Colorado
Although her father was diagnosed 3 years ago Danica did not realize the struggles he was experiencing until her senior year in high school. She became involved in the National MS Society and through her involvement she learned a great deal about herself. She participated in events and raised money and through this involvement she learned the satisfaction of helping people. She now knows that she can make a difference.
Danica plans to attend the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs where she will major in history. She wants to have a career in post-secondary education teaching history.
