Congratulations to Alison Zellner, 2010 Activist of the Year!
The 2010 Chapter Award for Activism goes to Alison Zellner of Denver. In the past two years Alison has taken our advocacy effort from online to on-the-ground. She integrated the efforts to recruit advocates from our events, leading to this year’s Activist Walk team raising $3,000. Alison also participated in the Public Policy Conference in Washington DC, addressing legislators and their staffs on our federal issues.
Congratulations to Ayesha Sharma, 2010 Volunteer of the Year!
The 2010 Chapter Volunteer of the Year, Ayesha Sharma, has worked tirelessly on the Disability Insurance Benefits Support Project as well as the Lifespan Respite Care for the National MS Society Colorado Chapter. Her valuable contributions will undoubtedly improve the lives of Coloradans living with MS. Ayesha’s smiling face, positive attitude and creative approach at work are her biggest strengths. She serves as a constant inspiration for all those who work around her.
