Colorado Health Benefit Exchange

User Options:

Health insurance is expensive and it is covering less and less of the care Coloradans need. The good news is Colorado is creating an online marketplace, the Colorado Health Benefit Exchange, to help consumers shop around for insurance and make better apples-to-apples comparisons.

The goal of the marketplace is to increase affordability, access, and coverage for individual consumers and small businesses. However, the Exchange won’t work if it doesn’t work for all Coloradans. So to make sure it does, a coalition of consumer advocacy groups traveled the state in late 2011 hosting forums to generate feedback from consumers and small business owners.

We’ll be using the information we gather to help make sure the Exchange achieves its goal of increasing affordability, access and choice.
