What is Advocacy?
At the Colorado-Wyoming Chapter we think that real people should have a real impact on reforming the health system, starting with access to care for those who need it.
Our advocacy successes happen when people with MS speak out on issues important to them.
We also believe that by standing together with other advocacy groups we will form a stronger and more effective voice to impact our common issues and concerns.
We understand the power of people working together for a common cause.
Our advocacy programs bring people together to help improve the quality of life for people impacted by MS as well as spark changes at the local, state and federal levels by teaching individuals how to advocate for their needs.
Progress in public policy is made when citizens and legislators work together to identify needs in their communities and to address them in a positive way.
We invite you to Take Action: contact your government officials, sign up to receive action alerts, read our News to Know, and learn about current national Action Alerts.
