"I would like to thank everyone that joined us in this fight to find a cure or new treatments for people living with MS. Walkers thank you for walking for those who can no longer walk! Bikers thank you for riding for those who can no longer enjoy riding their bikes! Thank you all for "Joining the Movement", and helping to raise funds to help provide for services for people living with MS, and to help find new treatments or a CURE!! Trust me the needles are no fun, but we continue to stay strong.
The National MS Society, Connecticut Chapter is here to help us understand, and cope with this new way of living. MS forces us to learn to live with a body we no longer control. It's a "sneaky" disease to say the least. Everyday is a new day for people living with MS, such as myself. Help us stop MS in its tracks, before it stops others.” Paul “Bashy” Wilson, Bloomfield, Diagnosed with MS in 2009
Courageous. Passionate. Relentless. These are just a few of the words to describe those joining the movement toward a world free of multiple sclerosis. This can be achieved, but we need your help. In just the past decade, researchers have made astonishing progress in the search for a cause and cure for this degenerative disease of the central nervous system.
By sponsoring the event, riding and volunteering, or by making a general donation, you help fund the worldwide MS research efforts to find a cure. You also help the Connecticut Chapter to provide much needed services and programs that empower over 6,000 people living with multiple sclerosis in Connecticut.
