Do It Yourself Fundraising

User Options:

The Connecticut Chapter receives numerous inquiries each year from individuals and organizations wishing to stage their own fundraising events to help in the fight against MS. These volunteer-coordinated events - called "Do-It-Yourself" events - are run by interested volunteers independently from the chapter, and can include golf tournaments, bake sales, wine tastings, casual dress days and more.

Businesses can also support our mission to end the devastating effects of multiple sclerosis by contributing a portion of their proceeds during a specific time period, or proceeds from a specific product to the chapter.

We encourage the development of these volunteer-coordinated events and provide a nominal level of guidance and resources when appropriate.

BIRDIES FOR CHARITY
Help the National MS Society, Connecticut Chapter, by participating in Birdies for Charity. The Birdies for Charity program provides an opportunity for nonprofit organizations to raise funds by collecting pledges based on your estimate of the number of birdies that will be made by PGA TOUR professionals during tournament week. At the conclusion of the tournament, the Travelers Championship officials will calculate the number of birdies made during the tournament and determine the amount owed by each donor. Donors will receive an invoice based on their pledges and actual tournament results. One Hundred percent of the proceeds raised by individuals who indicate that they are fundraising on behalf of the National MS Society will go to the chapter. Make your pledge here.
