The National Multiple Sclerosis Society relies on the dedication of hard-working volunteers in every aspect of the organization. We value and recognize the tireless work of our volunteers, without whom we would be unable to fulfill the promise of our mission.
All year, volunteers of all ages and backgrounds serve at our events, comfort peers living with MS, lend their professional talents to special projects and office work, advocate and lobby elected officials, chair their own fundraisers, and provide leadership by serving as members of the board of trustees, program committees, and event committees.
We are dedicated to the growth and development of the volunteers who offer their time and resources. The National Capital Chapter embraces the diversity of thoughts and opinions that our volunteers bring to our vision of creating a world free of MS.
