Biography |
I joined the Delaware Chapter staff in September 2009. As the Event Coordinator on the Development Team, I am a part of the planning process for all of our major fundraisers throughout the year. I am most active in the planning of our walks and bikes, and cover all the logistics for these events. My favorite part of my job is interacting with all of the wonderful volunteers, walkers, and cyclists that are involved with our chapter. There is rarely a day that goes by where I am not inspired by the Delaware chapter’s community at large and its commitment to finding a cure for MS.
I graduated with honors from Penn State University in 2004 with a major in Advertising-Public Relations and a minor in Sociology. After graduation, I was able to secure a position in Marketing and Development for Fascinate-U Children’s Museum in Fayetteville, North Carolina, where I coordinated a variety of educational and fundraising events. Most recently, I served as a Marketing Manager for Dayton Dragons Professional Baseball in Dayton, Ohio where I planned various sponsor promotions and corporate events. Now in beautiful Wilmington, Delaware, I feel blessed to have a job that makes a difference in so many people’s lives. |
