Biography

I joined the Delaware Chapter staff as the Event Marketing/Teams Coordinator in February 2011. I am responsible for supporting Bike and Walk Team Captains to ensure their success in recruitment and fundraising. Through community outreach, events, and recognition programs, it is my job to energize and generate enthusiasm among teams. My job at the MS Society has proven to be one of the most rewarding and exciting experiences of my life. I have the opportunity to travel across the state, meeting with passionate people who are working tirelessly to fight against MS. Each person’s story is truly an inspiration. The network of people supporting this important cause is not only a hard working group, but a fun group! One of my favorite aspects of this position is attending the many team fundraisers, where everyone comes together to rally team spirit and celebrate their accomplishments.

Born and raised in Delaware, I graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor’s Degree in Leadership and Consumer Economics, and later earned my Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Goldey Beacom College. While finishing my education, I became a television news anchor for CN8 The Comcast Network and WMDT 47 News, an ABC affiliate in Salisbury, Maryland. Before joining the team at the MS Society, I worked at the Kent County Tourism Bureau as the Director of Public Relations and Special Events.
