Physical Therapy Assessment Clinic

Created and managed at the University of Delaware's McKinley Lab in Newark, the MS Physical Therapy Assessment Clinic is held year-round—free of charge!
Each client is assessed by the clinic's volunteer staff of professional therapists and other allied health professionals to determine the individual's specific needs.
The following assessments are currently offered:
- physical therapy assessment
- occupational therapy assessment
- medical equipment assessment
- ambulation analysis
- nutrition consultation
- bowel and bladder consultation
- emotional counseling
- optometry exam
The number of appointments is limited and spaces fill up quickly—so call today!
This clinic is geared toward people who have been living with MS for some time and are experiencing some degree of debilitation; or who have not had an assessment for at least one year.
Process:
You will receive an intake interview and be given driving directions and parking instructions.
If for some reason you have to cancel your appointment, please do so at the earliest possible time as there is often a wait list for this program.
