The Delaware Chapter of the National MS Society asked our elected officials for an income tax check-off bill, and we got it! On the last day of the 2009 legislative session, House Bill 191 was passed. The passage of this bill means that an option to make a donation to the MS Society will be added to the Delaware state income tax forms. The bill was created and introduced by Representative Deborah Hudson (middle row, white coat, orange sweater), and we owe her much thanks! Governor Jack Markell signed our bill into law on September 4th, 2009. Way to go MS Advocates!
