Physical activity is an important aspect of achieving and maintaining physical health, mental health, and overall well-being. In addition to being essential to general health and well-being, exercise and physical activity are helpful in managing many MS symptoms. Exercise decreases the risk of heart disease, decreases resting blood pressure, aids sleep, strengthens bones, increases flexibility, endurance, energy and can elevate one's sense of well being.
The Briggs Wellness Center is a 40,000 square foot facility; Wi-Fi enabled with state of the art equipment and National MS Society certified instructors in MS Wellness and Aquatic Therapy.
Free half hour massage will be provided for attending four Wellness Sessions and Support Groups (limit one massage per quarter).
