Tuesday, May 1st (In Norcross):

Truck loading at our warehouse (Between 10am-5pm)

Friday, May 4th


Packet Pick up Set up- (1pm-3pm) 8 people
Unload the supplies from our truck and assist with setting up the t-shirt table, packet pick up tables, signage, top 25 table.

Packet Pick up & Tshirt/ VIP Table (3:30pm-8:30pm) 12 people
Collect pledge sheets and distribute rider packets, t-shirts and goodie bags to participants on scheduled dates before the tour.

Site Set Up (6pm-8pm)
Assist the site coordinator in setting up areas such as the Start Line and Finish Line by setting up supplies and equipment; i.e., tables, tents, chairs, banners, signs, etc. Moderate to heavy lifting is required.

Saturday, May 5th and Sunday, May 6th

Parking & Traffic Control (Saturday 5:30am-9am) 6-8 people
Greet cyclists and volunteers at the parking deck as they arrive Saturday morning and direct them to start finish

Rider services tent (Saturday 6am-830am, Sunday 12-5pm)1 person per shift
Assist our staff in providing maps to cyclists and answering general questions with regards to the day’s schedule. This is a seated position.

Breakfast (Saturday 5:30-9:00am) 5 people
Assist with setting up, handing out and cleaning up breakfast.

Hydration (Saturday 6-9am and Sunday 12-3pm, 3-5pm) 3 people per shift
Assist with setting up the hydration area. Mixing PowerAde, adding water to the dispenser coolers and keeping them full while cyclists are there.

Luggage Truck Loading (Saturday 5-9am) 10 people
Cyclists will have a bag with their clothes for the next day and overnight. You will assist with collecting the luggage, making sure there is an id tag on it and loading it in an orderly fashion on the truck.

Medical (Saturday 6-8am and Sunday 11:45am-6:00pm) 2 people
Provide medical assistance at start/finish Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon. Volunteers must be licensed or certified professionals for this position

Rider Certificates (Sunday 1-5pm) 5 people
Assist with writing cyclist’s names on their completion certificates when they arrive back to the finish line in Atlanta. Seated position.

Site Take Down (Sunday 3-7pm) 15 people
Assist the site coordinator in taking down the site, loading up trucks and cleaning up the area. Moderate to heavy lifting is required.

Luggage Unloading (Sunday 10am-1pm) 10 people
Unload the luggage when it arrives in Athens. Place it in an orderly fashion in the ballroom so that it will be easy to retrieve when cyclists arrive at the finish.

Luggage Retrieval (Sunday 12-3:30pm, 2-6pm, 4-7pm) 4 people per shift
When cyclists return to retrieve their luggage, check their rider number and send another volunteer at luggage retrieval to bring their bag up.
