The MS Leadership Class honors local Atlanta business and civic leaders for their contributions to the economic and cultural contributions of the greater Atlanta area. Participants in the leadership class conduct a special gifts campaign on behalf of the National MS Society - Georgia Chapter as part of the program. The inaugural MS Leadership Class of 2009 has raised over $80,000 for MS research.

In appreciation of their efforts, the MS Leadership honorees were guests of honor at a graduation reception hosted by John and Elaine Carlos at the Cherokee Town and Country Club on April 22, 2009. In addition, these individuals are featured in a special insert in the Atlanta Business Chronicle and have the opportunity for professional development and networking with local business, medical, and civic leaders, their classmates, and the Board of Trustees of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society - Georgia Chapter.
