I can make a commitment.

  • Become an advocacy volunteer. We request that you submit a volunteer application (click here).
  • Stay abreast of state and federal issues that the National MS Society are working on.
  • Schedule a visit with your state or federal legislators in their local office. Contact us to let us know about your visit.
  • Become an MS Movement Ambassador - speak on behalf of the chapter at community or support group meetings, share your story, tell them about MS Activism and help recruit more MS Activists. We request that you submit a volunteer application (click here).
  • Help us recruit more MS Activists at the next chapter event such as Walk MS, Bike MS and many more!
  • Apply to be part of the Advocacy & Government Relations Committee (AGRC), the advisory group for the chapter's advocacy efforts.
  • Become a subject matter expert and serve on a local task force, disability/chronic illness coalition or AGRC subcommittee.
  • Organize an event to meet other MS activists in your community. Contact us.
