Clinical Trials

clinical trials

Clinical trials are scientific studies designed to test the safety and efficacy of new agents or regimens for treating disease. Before you agree to participate, you will be asked to understand and sign an “informed consent” form.

The form should provide a summary of the clinical trial, including its purpose, the treatment procedures and schedule, potential risks and benefits, and alternatives to participation.
