St.Vincent Hospital MS Exercise Classes
Don’t miss these exciting new classes specifically designed for individuals with multiple sclerosis! The courses will be conducted by a fitness specialist and focus on endurance, strength and range of motion. Classes are open to both men and women of all ability levels and activities will be tailored to the needs of the participants.

MS Seated Exercise Class
A recreational group exercise class and educational program specifically designed for individuals living with multiple sclerosis and / or other related conditions. This 45-minute class provides safe and effective exercises that will ease you into a daily routine. Exercises include: range of motion, strength and stretching using chairs for balance or seated safety.
MS Seated Yoga
This class utilizes chairs for seated stretching. Asana will be modified as needed helping students maintain flexibility, strength and balance. The class also focuses on breathing and relaxation techniques. Some standing poses are practiced if appropriate, using chairs for balance.
All participants must register with CAREline at 317-338-2273 to participate in these classes. Please note that spaces are limited and require registration to participate. All participants must complete a Health History Questionnaire / Release prior to participation. Online Exercise Class
Kristin McNealus, PT, DPT, ATP, a physical therapist in southern California has introduced an online exercise class that could be beneficial for individuals living with MS. The website gives users access to two new workouts every Wednesday, any time they want, as often as they want, for an affordable monthly subscription. Her goal is to provide fun, challenging workouts to people who cannot get to a gym or may not have accessible local resources. To learn more visit www.scitotalfitness.com.

This program is designed for the benefit of persons with special disabilities. This class will encourage participants to use their physical attributes to the best of their abilities while enhancing their spirits and minds with positive reinforcement. Attention is one on one with an instructor in a group setting.
