After nearly nine weeks of Burger Building and tallying votes, the Mid America Chapter was named the winner of the Omaha Steaks Ultimate Burger Experience. The National Multiple Sclerosis Society tallied both the most burgers built and votes throughout the duration of the campaign. In doing so, our Chapter is the recipient of a $25,000 donation from Omaha Steaks. Also, charity: water, Disabled American Veterans and St. Jude Children’s Hospital will all receive a $5,000 donation from Omaha Steaks for their participation as well.
The Ultimate Burger Experience is a Facebook application that invited users to craft a virtual burger and to donate the experience to benefit one of four charities, selected in an earlier poll of Omaha Steaks Facebook fans.
