Intern Testimonials:
“This has been an AMAZING experience. I’m so fortunate to have been able to develop some lifelong skills and gain experience in the non-profit worlds. My supervisors were great and so helpful. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to work with. Thank you for allowing me a chance to grow and change with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. It has been a pleasure.” Danielle, Development Intern
“Overall, my internship was very rewarding. It met my goals in multiple ways. The main one: given the opportunity to view the coordination of a non-profit organization. I enjoyed the independence of my position. I had the opportunity to take on projects that were ongoing and discovered ways to create new projects on my own.” Peter, Health and Wellness Intern
“I loved being involved with Bike MS! I utilized problem-solving and customer service skills that I will be able to reference in the future. My supervisor made me feel very welcome during my time at the MS Society. She took the time to really teach me useful skills that I will be able to take into the working world.” Sheila, Social Media and Marketing Intern
"I feel that my time with the National MS Society will be an asset when I pursue my Master’s Degree in Social Work. I was able to get a broad view of what social workers can do in their field. The working environment was great." Dana, Advocacy Intern
"I was happy with the experience that I received at the National MS Society. I like the fact that I received the opportunity to write feature stories in the MS Connection newsletter. I also enjoyed helping out at Walk MS. I conducted a lot of interviews via camera at one of the Walk sites and I enjoyed that a lot." Frederick, Marketing and Communications Intern
