Hang a poster - move toward a world free of MS!

Help the Mid America Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society spread awareness about multiple sclerosis and our organization in your community! We are looking for volunteers to distribute posters to their local community centers, libraries, hospitals, churches, fitness centers, grocery stores and anywhere else someone affected by MS might find them. The number of locations where you deliver posters is totally up to you!

The community outreach poster includes information on how the MS Society can assist someone affected by multiple sclerosis, as well as a tear-off sheet where they can request more specific resources from our organization. It is our goal to make certain that each and every person affected by MS has the tools and resources they need to mitigate the effects of MS in their lives.

Caring Connections - Summer Visit Program

Do you love to meet new people? Would you like to brighten someone's day with a short visit and a smile?

The MS Society - Mid America Chapter is currently recruiting volunteers for our Caring Connections - Summer Visit Program. Volunteers will conduct a short, friendly visit with a person who has MS. We have opportunities for visits in many areas of the Kansas City metro and would welcome your participation!

Volunteers will need to be available for a short training session prior to making their visits.
