Kiaran McLaughlin: Top Trainer Inspires Others Living With Multiple Sclerosis

While pursuing his dream of becoming one of the great trainers in the horse racing industry, the unpredictable effects of Multiple Sclerosis sidetracked Kiaran in 1998. After some deep soul searching he realized that he could not let MS get in the way of his future. With sheer determination he continued training and grabbed headlines in 2006 when Jazil was victorious in the Belmont Stakes, putting both Kiaran and his challenges with MS firmly in the spotlight. Later that same year he trained the winner of the $5 Million GI Breeders Cup Classic, Invasor, who was voted the U.S. Horse of the Year and subsequently won the $6 Million Dubai World Cup in 2007. His success has continued, and his attitude and determination is an inspiration both on and off the track!
