Volunteers

Passionate People = Productivity

Walk 2011 Newburyport BikeThere are many ways in which you can become engaged with the Greater New England Chapter. Do you like meeting new and old friends, have a lot of fun and at the same time help to create a world free of MS? If so, we have the opportunities for you. We are a volunteer driven organization and our Chapter cannot do anything without the help, expertise, support and dedication of volunteers. Whether you have a few hours, days, weeks or months, we can use your help.

Listed in the Fundraising section are our upcoming events where we need thousands of volunteers to help make each event very special for all participants. Also, we need volunteers to reach out in your communities to help to cultivate donors, volunteers and educate your community about MS and the National MS Society. You can be a advocate by becoming an activist and let you voice be heard by calling or writing to your congressional and state legislators.

You can spread awareness and education by telling your story. Become a Champion Against MS. This is a great way for someone with MS to become connected with some of our cyclists. We will gladly send you the Champion against MS form to fill out and a bandana to sign. You then return these to the Chapter office. Your form and bandana will be given to a cyclist who would like to ride for someone who has MS who is not able to ride. You will be making a new friend and at the same time share your story.
