The MS Shoreside Festival takes place on Sunday in Fort Allen Park along the Eastern Promenade. Kicking-off the day’s festivities is the 1st annual MS Shoreside 5K Run Walk. Participants will run/walk along part of the Eastern Prom trail crossing the finishline back at the Fort Allen Park. Plan to spend the afternoon in the Park! Bring a lawn chair or a blanket, then sit back and watch the titans of our working waterfront race along Casco Bay. As a special attraction, the Lobster Boat Race and Tugboat Muster will be broadcasted from the gazebo. There will be food vendors, children’s activities and more!
