MS REACH (Resource, Education, Awareness, Community, and Health) engages local volunteers to provide MS awareness, information and resources to rural and under-served communities in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont.

Become an MS REACH volunteer! Working with Chapter staff, organize MS REACH activities in your community. Contact a Community Programs staff member at 1-800-344-4867, opt. 2 or MsreachGNE@nmss.org.

MS REACH volunteers can provide:

  • Resources - Find community organizations such as physicians, counselors, wellness professionals, disability and service groups, and others who can help people with MS live well, find out about support for family members.
  • Education - Access educational programs, information about MS treatment options and current research for healthy living with MS, protect employment options for people with MS.
  • Awareness - Increase awareness of MS and the National MS Society, promote accessibility in your community, advocate for federal, state and local programs essential to people with MS.
  • Community - Reach out to welcome and engage people with MS, community organizations and businesses, and anyone who wants to do something about multiple sclerosis NOW.
  • Health - Provide MS information to health-care professionals, help people with MS access quality, comprehensive care.

Work with other volunteers in your community to engage those who want to create a world free of MS.
