MS Encompass ~ Get fit!

Exercise is an important step in helping cope with MS. Studies have shown that regular exercise can increase muscle strength, reduce fatigue and depression and improve bladder and bowel control. The Greater New England Chapter is collaborating with the YWCA of Central Massachusetts, located in Worcester, to offer individuals with MS access to their fitness facility. Try the YWCA's accessible pool, Cardio equipment, strength training room, and aerobics classes! They have handicap accessible weight training equipment for individuals using a wheelchair.

  • Flexible hours allow you to work out when it's best for you.
  • Childcare is available at the facility for a nominal fee.
