Education

In order to be affiliated with the National MS Society, Greater New England Chapter Self-Help Group Leaders will need to complete one self-help group leader education option during each fiscal year. Options for our current fiscal year include the following:

Self-Help Group Leader Teleconferences
Leaders must participate in any two calls and/or listen to two call recordings (based on topics you identify as important) to complete their training and development requirement in FY 2011 (access MP3 recordings of several recent calls). Additional topics and CD recordings of most calls are also available; contact your Chapter liaison for more details. An evaluation form must be completed for each call recording you listen to in order to receive credit.

MS Learn Online
View webcasts from the convenience of your own home and learn about a variety of MS-related topics. Webcasts are of your choosing, and must total 2 hours to complete the training and development requirement. An evaluation must be completed for each webcast chosen.

If you have questions or if you are interested in utilizing any of the opportunities listed above, please contact Heidi Eastman at heidi.eastman@nmss.org or 800-344-4867, option 2.
