My name is Becky Foy and I am the team captain for the Slo Pokes and Slo Pokes Return. Our team has participated in the Walk MS for many, many years. In recent years we have chosen to walk and volunteer in Ocean City; which by the way is wonderful, love the views and people! This year our team was without a very special person, Peggy Fouchs. She passed away tragically this past February. Peggy was a close friend and co-worker to me, my mother (who has MS) and my father.

Our team dedicated this year's walk to our dearly missed friend. Peggy Fouchs lived in Bowie, MD. She and her friend, Lee, would drive all the way to the beach to join us for our yearly Walk MS adventure. Peggy was a dear friend and I was very fortunate to have worked with her for several years in Baltimore. It was only a few weeks before Peggy suddenly passed away that she and I were talking about walking this year. The Slo Pokes would like to dedicate our 2009 Walk MS in memory or our dear friend, Margaret "Peggy" Fouchs.
