Emotional Health Programs

Friendly Listening
The Michigan Chapter is proud to offer the Friendly Listening program to our members diagnosed with MS. This free program is based on the belief that it is helpful to talk with others who face the challenges of multiple sclerosis.

Self-Help Groups and Online Support
Approximately 50 groups throughout the Chapter are offered to people with MS and caregivers (families and friends). Trained volunteer peer leaders facilitate these groups. Self help groups offer support, social activities and educational programs.

Counseling and Therapy
The National MS Society-Michigan Chapter provides referral services for people with MS and their family members via phone or by appointment.
