MS happens to families, not just to individuals. When a person is diagnosed with MS, there is immediate impact on all who love them.
The Michigan Chapter offers an extensive variety of programs, services and resources for you and your family. These resources can be accessed in person, online, by phone and by mail. To learn more, contact an MS Navigator at 1-800-344-4867 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. Families can count on the National MS Society.
Such Support and resources include:
- Emotional Support: Connect with a self-help group or speak with a professional one-on-one through our counseling program.
- Financial Assistance: The National MS Society, Michigan Chapter develops, delivers and leverages resources to enhance care for people with MS and the quality of life for those affected by the disease. Within the Financial Assistance program, we focus our efforts to minimize the financial impact of MS on individuals and families.
- Scholarships: MS shouldn’t stand in the way of an education. This is why the National MS Society's scholarship program exists — to help highly qualified students who have been diagnosed with MS or who have a parent with MS achieve their dreams of going to college.
