Professional Volunteers:
Volunteers across the country volunteer their professional knowledge and resources to help the National MS Society create a world free of MS.


Planning Committees and Leadership Volunteers:
Programs and fundraising events are made possible because of the commitment and leadership of volunteers who work with chapter staff to plan recruit fundraise and coordinate the Society's efforts to create a world free of MS.


Research & Advocacy Volunteers:
Research Advocacy volunteers are local champion for the National MS Society Research Mission. They share information about advances in biomedical research and promote the Society's research programs.

Self Help Group Leaders:
Self help groups bring people together who share a common life experience (living with MS) and provide personal support and education.

Gateway Facilitators:
Our Gateway to Wellness programs for people with MS provide 6 sessions that focus on exercise, discussion and activities to promote wellness, self-management and balance in lifestyle. If you are a health professional who wants to join a team of facilitators in presenting these sessions then this opportunity is for you.

Friendly Listener:
The Friendly Listening Program is a telephone network for people with MS who want support from their peers. Trained volunteers with MS make weekly calls to listen, provide support and suggest community resources.
