Description |
Department: Marketing and Public Relations
Commitment: January – May, 2013 (dates flexible). 10 to 15 hours per week.
Primary duties:

Assist with the transition to a new content management system
-
Assist marketing/communications department in the creation of Web content
-
Design email templates
-
Conduct routine Web content checks to ensure chapter website stays fresh
-
Edit and resize images for the Web
-
Edit copy for grammar, spelling and style
-
Post special events on community calendars and other appropriate websites
-
Perform other tasks as needed
-
Opportunity to collaborate on other marketing, public relations or design projects as desired.
Qualifications:
Required:
-
Interest in online marketing and Web communications
-
Excellent writing and editing skills, including knowledge of AP style
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Desired:
-
Student in related field
-
Experience with Web-based content management systems
-
Proficiency in HTML
-
Proficiency in other design and Web-related software (Photoshop, Illustrator)
