The National MS Society, Upper Midwest Chapter is seeking a Director of Donor and Community Engagement to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Cultivate, solicit and steward major, annual and planned gift individual donors while aligning donor interests with Society strategic objectives.
  • Cultivate, solicit and steward corporate donors to chapter events and programs.
  • Advocacy in South Dakota
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • In collaboration with programs and professional outreach staff, assist with implementing local client programs and clinical outreach.

Minimum quailfications
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of four years of nonprofit experience in the areas of major individual and corporate fundraising and/or community engagement. Strong skills are required in the areas of oral and written communications. Proven experience in individual gifts and/or corporate fundraising required with outstanding ability to cultivate relationships and make solicitations. Must demonstrate experience in working collaboratively across teams and departments to achieve chapter-wide goals.
