Club and group leadership resources

User Options:

The Upper Midwest Chapter extends a budget of up to $300 per fiscal year (Oct. 1 through Sept. 30) for each MS Matters or MS group for group-related expenses. Reimbursement requests submitted after Sept. 30 will be charged against the group’s budget for the new fiscal year.

Examples of covered expenses include refreshments, meals, party supplies/decorations, speaker fees, printing, copying or postage. Alcoholic beverages are excluded.

Non-itemized receiptImportant: Original, itemized receipts must accompany all reimbursement requests. Unacceptable documentation includes credit card receipts showing only total amount charged as well as photocopied, scanned or faxed copies of original receipts. Requests for exceptions to this policy should document extenuating circumstances and require approval by the Chapter's Vice President of Finance.

The support group leader program enhances and improves the quality of services offered to support group participants. As part of their volunteer role with the National MS Society, support group leaders, area coordinators and trainers receive formal training, supervision and evaluation.
