Mentor Program

User Options:

Connect with someone who understands MS

For Upper Midwest Chapter members only

The mentor program pairs people who have multiple sclerosis with others living with the disease or with people who know a great deal about it to provide mutual support for both participants. The program can also match caregivers and care partners seeking support from others who can relate to their experiences.

This program provides an opportunity for people affected by MS to enjoy a one-on-one connection — over the phone, email or in person — with someone who understands the challenges of the disease.

Mentor relationships are intended to be short-term, generally lasting three to four months, but may last longer. Training is provided to all mentors.

If you'd like to be a mentor, please fill out the online interest form. If you're interested in being matched with a mentor, or for more information, contact Connie at 612-335-7964, 800-582-5296 (option 2) or connie.gundersonwarner@nmss.org.
