Keeping the mind moving
Improve your memory, increase your attention and enhance your ability to communicate through Cognifitness. This seven-session program is designed to help people with multiple sclerosis improve the seven main areas of cognition and reduce stress related to cognitive issues. The program is open to anyone with multiple sclerosis and is endorsed by the National MS Society.
Time: Tuesdays, March 15- April 26, 2:45 to 4:45 p.m.
Location: Fairview Multiple Sclerosis Achievement Center, 2200 University Ave. Suite 140, St. Paul, MN 55114
Classes focus on specific cognitive areas:
- March 15 - Attention
- March 22 - Memory
- March 29 - Executive skills
- April 5 - Reasoning
- April 12 - Communication
- April 19 - Math
- April 26 - Creativity
Instructor: Rebecca Anderson, is an occupational therapist at the Fairview Multiple Sclerosis Achievement Center and a certified Multiple Sclerosis Specialist.
Fee: $10 per class payable the evening of the session. $50 for all seven classes (a $20 savings) when paid in full on Jan. 5.
Each class builds on the previous session, so attendance at all seven classes is recommended.
Classes are limited to 10 attendees. Priority is given to people registering for all seven classes.
