Making connections for self-sufficiency

The chapter has provided a grant to Minnesota Work Incentives Connection to provide people with multiple sclerosis specialized information, referral, problem solving and benefit analysis regarding employment.

The Minnesota Work Incentives Connection is a unique program that assists people with disabilities in maximizing their economic self sufficiency. The program provides clear, accurate information about complex benefit rules, so people with disabilities may make informed decision about the financial and health care aspects of working.

The services provided by the program will assist people with MS to re-enter or stay in the workforce and reduce dependence on government benefits over time.

To participate in the program, contact the Minnesota Work Incentive Connection at 651-632-5113 or 800-976-6728. You may also contact the chapter advocacy and information staff for more information.
