The Family Getaway is an opportunity for families to learn more about living with MS while enjoying fun activities. See a listing of jobs below. Volunteer job descriptions

Nurse

Oversee the care and medical treatment of participants and administer medications and treatments as needed. Volunteer must provide proof of current RN or LPN licensure.

Program assistant

Assist with set up and implementation of getaway activities.

Discussion group leader

Facilitate discussion groups for people living with MS or care partners.

Youth assistant

Assist in providing a fun, safe experience for kids age 5 to 17 as they play, learn and address issues related to MS in their families.

Truck/van driver

Assist in loading and unloading equipment trucks. Drive trucks to and from the getaway. Ability to lift 50 pounds, drive a 26-foot straight truck or accessible van. A valid driver’s license and current vehicle insurance are required.
