Intern applicants should submit their resume and cover letter to the Volunteer Community Outreach Coordinator at the below contact information, or on-line under Internship Application.
Please note that the internships are highly competitive. To be fully considered for the internship, submit your applications by April 15 for the summer semester, July 15 for the fall semester, and November 15 for the spring semester. The internships will remain open until filled.
Once application materials are received, the Volunteer Community Outreach Coordinator will share the resume and cover letter with the internship supervisor. If the applicant is qualified for the internship, the Volunteer Community Outreach Coordinator will schedule a phone interview to establish if the applicant is a good fit for the organization. It is always recommended to be prepared for the phone interview!
After the first interview, the Volunteer Community Outreach Coordinator will meet again with the internship supervisor to go over the applicant's materials, and to establish whether the second, in-person interview should be scheduled between the supervisor and the applicant. The applicant should bring one professional letter of reference to the in-person interview.
Within a week following the second interview, a letter or an e-mail will be sent to the applicant with the status of the position. Please, no phone calls within a week of interview.
